Why Megan’s Walking4BrainCancer

August 9, 2020

Megan’s father was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2017 and passed away only one month later.

Megan was passionate about getting involved in Walk4BrainCancer to honour his memory and raise awareness but the closest organised walk was in Perth which is 700kms away from where she lives in Esperance.

Megan decided that geography and location should not be a barrier to participation so has organised a walk in Esperance that will take place on 10 November along the Esplanade that her father loved walking while looking out at the islands and ocean.
