Join us for a scenic 25km community walk on 6 October 2019 from Pottsville to Fingal Head to raise funds for brain cancer research.
2019 Walk4BrainCancer shirts are on sale! Cure Brain Cancer Foundation merchandise will be available to purchase on the day (excluding personalised t-shirts).
Now in it’s fifth year, Walk for Brain Cancer Tweed Heads will be held on the Sunday of the Labour Day long weekend (Queen’s birthday, QLD) as it has since 2015.
The scenic walk begins at Ambrose Brown Park, Pottsville and finishes at Fingal Head Surf Club, with drink and sunscreen refill stations at Cabarita and Kingscliff.
“This cause is close to me heart as I lost my cousin in 2017 at just 40 years old. He left behind his gorgeous wife and 3 children all under 15. Let’s come together and support our community who are affected by brain cancer. Walk as an individual, a team or a relay and help raise funds for a cure for brain cancer. Last years walk was a great success with just over $20k raised and we would love to top that this year.“
– Karlee, organiser of Walk4BrainCancer Tweed Heads
