“In 2017 my son at the age of 14 was diagnosed with a Pineal Germinoma Brain Tumor. Having to watch him endure 9 months of treatment was heart-wrenching but, thankfully for us, he is now cancer free. We never understood how common not only childhood brain cancer but brain cancer, in general, was until this journey for us began. If I could have just one wish it would be to see all cancer treatment centres become obsolete because there was no one with cancer to treat. We may not be able to wipe cancer out but we can work on making the cure rate as high as possible. Cancer is not selective it can happen to anyone so please join us for a casual stroll through the gorgeous Mt Martha to help raise invaluable funds for research and a cure.”
