Join us for the fourth annual Huskisson Walk4Brain Cancer in honour of our beautiful boy Lachlan Thoroughgood and to honour all those families who have battled and continue to battle brain cancer.
2019 Walk4BrainCancer shirts and Cure Brain Cancer Foundation merchandise will be available to purchase on the day (excluding personalised t-shirts).
Let’s walk together!! Inspiration for organising this walk is always Lachlan Thoroughgood, who was just 6 years old when he was diagnosed with Gliobastoma Multiforme which is an aggressive and currently incurable brain cancer.
We will walk to raise awareness and offer hope, so join us in the beautiful town of Huskisson for a walk along the coast line. Pack a picnic, pack your cossies – there are many opportunities to take a dip. This is a family friendly event. Together we can make a difference and one day, we can say we helped find a cure!
“Lachlan was surrounded by many people near and far who loved him and filled his days with fun and adventure. Although it saddens us every moment of every day that he is no longer here with us we take comfort in the fact that his legacy will live on in every step we take.”
– Leanne, Lachlan’s mother
