Join us for an inspirational 5km morning walk in Bussleton on Sunday, 13 October and support people impacted by brain cancer.

• Now in its 3rd year, Busso’s Walk is back for 2019 Walk4BrainCancer in Busselton.

  The 5km walk will start from the grassed area, west of The Equinox Cafe at 09:00am then walk 2.5km west to The Geographe Bay Yacht Club, and return.

  After the walk, please join us for a sausage sizzle and refreshments.

  The path caters for walkers of all levels and is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

  “Six years ago I thought I was a fit and healthy 40 year old with three daughters aged 4, 6 and 8. In July 2013 I was diagnosed with a grade 3 oligodendroglioma brain tumour. Since that time I have had two surgeries to remove it, numerous complementary therapies and also six weeks of radiotherapy followed by chemotherapy. For the past 24 months, my scans have shown no sign of the tumour. AMAZING!! In 2017, I organised the first ever Walk4BrainCancer in my home town of Busselton to raise awareness of this awful disease, raise money for the Foundation who focus on research, advocacy and awareness and help work towards finding a cure for brain cancer.”
